Jesus is our gracious Shepherd who calls us into his fold and protects us. Jesus is our guiding Shepherd who leads us to feast in the green pastures of his Word. Jesus is our tender Shepherd who carries us through life’s troubling times.  Jesus is our loving Shepherd who wants his voice to be heard in all the world. Jesus is our eternal Shepherd who will lead us through the valley of the shadow of death, safely to our eternal home.  

This is why we are committed to connecting people to our Good Shepherd, Jesus. We do that by providing opportunities to worship, to connect to God’s Word and other people, and to honor Jesus as we serve our community.

Jesus said, “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep."

John 10:11

“I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me— just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep. I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd. The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life—only to take it up again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.”
